“Matching Labour Market Supply with Labour Market Demands”
11 September – 14 September 2011, Tallinn,
Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel

We are pleased to inform you that the Estonian National Agency for the Lifelong Learning Programme is organising a contact seminar for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme. A contact seminar is a networking event organised by a National Agency. It aims at bringing together people from organisations which share common interests and would like to develop European cooperation projects/partnerships in the field of vocational education and training.

This contact seminar is part of the Nordic-Baltic cooperation. Also, the NEW SKILLS network (http://www.newskillsnetwork.eu) project partnership will collaborate with the Nordic-Baltic partnership in developing a detailed theme for the seminar so as to ensure that new project ideas created during the seminar will focus on identified gaps in upgrading skills to match future labour market demands.

We offer participants the opportunity to:
• Exchange information and experiences
• Work in groups to find and form partnerships/consortia
• Discuss and develop project ideas
• Visit VET institutions in Tallinn in order to make personal contacts

Working language: English

Target group:
The contact seminar will offer the participants a platform to discuss and prepare Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation (TOI), Partnership (PA) and Mobility (VETPRO) proposals.

The invitation is open to all countries in the Lifelong Learning programme – we welcome up to 4 participants from each country plus one NA representative (total 60 participants).

What to prepare?
All the participants are expected to have a good understanding of the Leonardo da Vinci programme and project types (http://ec.europa.eu/education/lifelong-learning-programme/doc82_en.htm) as the respective presentation is not foreseen in our Agenda.

Cost of the seminar:
The seminar fee is 550 Euro, which includes accommodation for 3 nights, meals and the seminar programme.
There are EU funds available to cover the seminar fee and travel costs. Please contact your National Agency to apply for a Leonardo Preparatory Visit grant.

The seminar will take place in Tallink Spa Hotel
Sadama 11a, Tallinn, Estonia

NB! Please note that there is a PRE-REGISTRATION form on our webpage. Please contact us after getting acceptance from your NA to your Preparatory visits application. After that, the final registration will be done and all relevant materials will be provided.

The deadline for pre-registration is May 30, 2011
